The National Museum New Delhi invites applications for 13 positions  for Conservators, Artists and Assistants.

This is a temporary job for a period of one month to carry out the work of restoring oil-paintings at the PM Office, South Block, New Delhi

Expert Conservator : 1 Position

Essential Qualification : Post-Graduation degree in Chemistry / Fine Arts / Conservation
+ 5 years of experience in the conservation of antiquities / works of art in a responsible capacity
 Salary: 40,000 per month for one month. 
Note: preference will be given to retired people from a Conservation background. 

Senior Conservator : 7 Positions

Essential Qualification : Post-Graduation degree in Science / Fine Art / Conservation from a recognised University / Institute + 2 years of experience in the conservation of antiquities / works of art
OR Graduation in Science / Fine Art / Conservation from a recognised University / Institute + 5 years of experience in the conservation of antiquities / works of art
 Salary: 30,000 per month for one month. 

Junior Conservator : 3 Positions

Essential Qualification : M.F.A  or B.F.A in Conservation from a recognised University / Institute + 2 years of experience in the conservation of antiquities / works of art
 Salary: 25,000 per month for one month. 

Senior Artist : 01 position

for Gold gilding and Retouching
Essential Qualification:- Graduate with Fine Art /Traditional Artist with 10 years experience in traditional art and wall paintings.
Salary: consolidated amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- to complete the work in one month (Sr. Artist is expected to arrange for a Junior Artist as required).
Note: Preference will be given to National Awarded Artist

Assistant : 02 Positions

Essential Qualification:- 10th pass.
Desirable : 02 years experience of assisting on conservation of antiquities / works of art.
Salary: consolidated amount of Rs. 15,000 per month for one month
