Beit-un-Nijat

This was the first stop on our Lost Legacies walk. You know when you are excited to start something new but also kind of apprehensive whether it will be as you expected it to be? It was the same for me for this walk. But the moment I saw this view, with the sunlight streaming in, my mind was at ease. Our trail lead Sohail had explained what Beit-n-Nijat meant – House of Liberation. This view made me feel it was a perfectly fitting name. We were aware that photography is objected to, by the residents of the place. But this view demands to be clicked and saved, don’t you think?
